The Liebster Award

First of all, thank you so much to Hollie George for the nomination! It’s amazing to think that this is my second blogging award, after only blogging consistently since May. I feel so honored that anyone would even think of me! Please go give her a follow! Anyway, to stop from sounding too sappy, on to the rules!

  • Thank the blogger who nominated you.
  • Answer the 11 questions given.
  • Nominate bloggers you think fit the criteria for the award.
  • Let those bloggers know you’ve nominated them.
  • Create 11 questions for the nominees to answer.

I’ll try to make my answers as interesting and honest as possible, so please let me know what you think at the end! (I hope you guys like me).

The Questions I was Given:

  1. Why did you start your blog?

I wanted to have a place to both jot down my thoughts and potentially start a writing business/book idea. A lot of authors start out as bloggers, and writing is a big passion of mine, so this was a logical step! I really like that I can use my blog as a jumping off point for a possible book/novel/memoir (you never know when inspiration might hit, or what readers will respond to), and as a place to look back on my memories, thoughts, and vent sessions.

  1. If you had 3 wishes, what would you wish for?

I actually think about this a lot. (Of course, the trick is to wish for a hundred more genies, not a hundred more wishes…but I promise I won’t cheat.)

  • Have the power to understand every language in the world.
  • Be able to heal the sick and injured.
  • Make sure my family lives a healthy, happy and comfortable life.
  1. Where do you want to travel to the most?

I really want to visit Thailand, especially their beaches and elephant sanctuaries. Plus, Thai food is my favorite type of food. Europe (and Disneyland Paris) would probably be a close second, with China (Shanghai Disney) coming in third.

  1. Do you have any weird talents?

I can name any obscure actor from random TV shows and movies, and rattle off a list of their previous acting roles (kind of like a human IMDB). I’m also really good at remembering movie quotes, and stalking people online- seriously, I should be hired by the FBI.

  1. What is your favorite TV show?

The Office. It never fails to make me smile or laugh. Once Upon a Time is a close second, and Supergirl comes in third (to all of the Game of Thrones fans out there, I apologize).

  1. What is your biggest fear?

Losing my husband. He’s my soulmate and my best friend, and I really don’t think I could live without him.

Also, I’m scared that North Korea will nuke us any day.

  1. Do you prefer spring/summer, or autumn/winter?

This may be an unpopular answer, but I prefer spring/summer. I like the warmth, and besides, I live in a place where it gets SUPER busy during the fall. A lot of elderly, rich, mostly arrogant snowbirds come to town, the traffic gets crazier, and work gets more hectic and anxiety inducing. Once spring hits, the traffic dies down, the snowbirds go back up north, and people at work ease up and start taking vacations.

  1. What are your future goals?

To be an author, and not have to work for anyone else but me. Also, to start a family with my husband and not have to worry about money.

  1. What would your name be if it wasn’t the name you have?

I once saw a sheet in my parent’s garage with name ideas for me before I was born. On it, one of the “girl” names listed was Danielle. So, I guess I would be Danielle. If I got to choose, however, I wouldn’t change my name. I love the name Arielle.

  1. If you were to get a tattoo, what would it be?

I probably won’t get a tattoo, since I change my mind too much to have anything permanent etched onto my skin. If I did though, it would be the sun symbol from Tangled, one of my favorite movies. I think that artwork is beautiful, and it would remind me always to be positive.

  1. What’s your best piece of advice for a blogger?

Promote the crap out of your blog on social media, especially Twitter. Sometimes I hate myself for doing, but that’s how you get noticed! Also, like, follow, comment, and connect with other blogs/bloggers. I’ve found it’s a really friendly community!

Again, thanks so much to Hollie for the questions! Here are mine:

  1. Glad to know I’m not the only one scared about war/conflict with North Korea. I know most people are passing all the threats off as mere talk, but I really feel in the near future (more nearer than further), we’re gonna get into a pretty scary conflict of some sort. Although I pray to God not!

Human IMDB, eh? Ok, how about Burt Mustin? Go, lol!

    1. Same. The fear is real. Hmm Burt Mustin, all in the family? If I’m wrong that’ll be embarrassing haha. Thanks for reading!
